Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 1 cup (140g) Golden Crunch Dry Roasted macadamias, roughly chopped
  • 8 Medjool dates, chopped
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
  • Optional: light drizzle of maple syrup

Method

  1. Line a tray or large plate with baking paper.
  2. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and place into a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water (make sure the bowl does not touch the water). Stir slowly until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared tray and spread evenly to your preferred thickness.
  4. Scatter chopped macadamias and dates evenly over the chocolate.
  5. Finish with sea salt flakes and a light drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
  7. Break into rustic shards and serve.
